Coming This Summer!

We are excited to announce that we will be offering a summer group on Saturdays, from July 8 – August 12, 2023. 


This group will be programmed and facilitated together by a Board Certified Behaviour Analyst (BCBA) and an Occupational Therapist (OT). Goals will include social and fine motor skills. Children 4-8 years old of all abilities are welcome.

Welcome Evelyn & Cecilia!

We are thrilled to have Evelyn join our Occupational Therapy Team! You will see Evelyn around the clinic on Saturday afternoons.

 

We are also excited to welcome Cecilia who is a Board Certified Behaviour Analyst (BCBA)! She will be co-facilitating our Friendship & Fine Motor Group this summer.

 

Our Clinic Space

We are located at 3200 14th Avenue, Unit 11, in Markham. Our space features a kid-friendly treatment room, is wheelchair-accessible and free parking is available. 

What is Occupational Therapy?

Occupational therapists (OTs) help clients to maximize their function and independence in self-care, work and play. For children, this can look like eating, learning and interacting with others. 

 

At Watermelon Occupational Therapy, we strive to help every client reach their fullest potential. We work together with families to create goals and treatment plans tailored to each individual client and family. We can’t wait to get to know you!

When to refer to Occupational Therapy?

If your child has any difficulty with development, fine motor skills, sensory processing skills or activities of daily living, they may benefit from occupational therapy.
